James L. Gregory

"For many years, Mr. Gregory was a partner or senior counsel in some of the most prestigious law firms in the country.  While the early part of his career was spent practicing will and trusts, most recently his practice and clients were predominantly large nationally recognized corporations and high net worth individuals, gradually concentrating his practice on the representation of investment banks and other institutional investors in connection with the issuance of commercial mortgage-backed securities and other structured financial products, covering a broad spectrum of property types, including retail, office, multifamily, hotels, nursing homes and time share interests.  His most recent position was in-house counsel at a publically traded REIT.  After becoming one of the casualties of the recent financial crisis, he has decided to set up shop running his own practice closer to home in Central New Jersey.  His primary goal is to focus on a smaller, people oriented practice that specializes in estate planning, real estate finance and development as well as business organization.  He is an active volunteer in his local community, particularly with activities that allow him to spend time with his three children."
